Experience: About Me – Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist
I’m an independent paediatric physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience, specialising in supporting children with complex postural and management needs. I’m passionate about helping children develop confidence, independence, and a love of movement, tailoring therapy to each child’s unique needs.
My Career Journey
I began my career in adult physiotherapy, gaining expertise in neurology, respiratory care, orthopaedics, and musculoskeletal outpatients. Around 11 years ago, I discovered my passion for paediatrics while working with primary school-aged children in orthopaedics and outpatients.
This led me to Bristol Children’s Hospital, where I gained invaluable experience over 18 months, before moving to Children’s Community Physiotherapy Services in 2015. In 2023, I transitioned to the private sector, continuing to support children with a wide range of conditions in clinics, schools, homes, and community settings.
